Lumber Oil

Lumber Oils are high performance lead free industrial gear oils manufactured from high quality mineral base oils and carefully selected sulphur - phosphorus extreme pressure additive system to provide good wear protection and to resist foaming and oxidation.

PERFORMANCE CHARATERISTICS

Lumber Oils meet the stringent performance requirements of US Steel Specification 224 and main European Specifications. They are carefully blended to give outstanding gear load and wear scuffing performance in these tests, besides load carrying capacity / in steel / steel gear transmission with good anti friction characteristic in steel / phosphors bronze gear units. They qualify both the Timken OK Load and FZG gear rig tests.

CONSUMER BENEFITS

  • Enhanced load carrying capacity
  • Excellent Oxidation and thermal stability
  • Good water shedding properties

Typical applications include enclosed heavy duty gear system, chains, drives, sprockets, plain and rolling element bearings, slide guides and flexible couplings.

These are particularly recommended for enclosed gear drives and speed rescuers ranging from low to high power gear motors of metal rolling mills, cement mills, sugar mills and mining hoists.
